Today's
fannish_5: Name your five favorite fictional kids.
So, I love kids. This is helpful when you, you know, teach elementary school. But so I decided to use pictures for this too, because these kids are too damn cute and awesome for mere words.
1. Micah Sanders, Heroes
Micah is the smartest little kid ever. His first moments on screen show him REBUILDING A COMPUTER'S MOTHERBOARD. His power is that he talks to technology, and he's used it to change traffic lights, raid ATMs for his financially struggling family and oh, yeah--save a ton of people from the government's secret evil agency.

Lookit tiny, fierce Micah! He wanted to be a superhero with his parents, telling them "We can be the Fantastic Four--minus one!" ...But now both his parents are dead. :(

And his cousin was a superhero with him for a while... but now she's been forgotten by the writers. But Micah grew up and came back last season, revealed to be "Rebel", working against the government to help people with abilities. He's a superhero after all!

...Seriously, any episode with Micah in it just winds up reducing me to bouncing around, going "MICAH MICAH MICAH MICAH MICAAAAAAAAAAAH!!" for the entire hour. I love him so.
2. Lian Harper, DC Comics
I don't even know where to start with Lian, but she has the best father ever, and she loves penguins, and if these scans don't convince you that she is the coolest kid ever, I don't know what will:

Anyone know the issue this is from? Because I neeeeed it.
Also, she's smarter than all the adults in her life:

3. Milagro Reyes, DC Comics
...Okay, so these scans really show how awesome the entire Reyes family is, but Milagro IS an entirely awesome little sister. I realy can't actually do her justice. She's such a normal little sister, pestering and teasing Jaime, but loving him so much.

And okay, here, a bonus example of Mrs. Reyes kicking ass, since clearly Milagro will take after her:

Milagro will clearly be a Force to be Reckoned with:

4. Molly Walker,Heroes
Oh, show. Pleeeeeease bring back Molly. She was adorable and sweet and brave, and HAD TWO DADDIES. Why have Mohinder and Matt forgotten about her, other than that the actress grew up too fast? :-\ I miss her.

She went through hell, witnessing her parents' murders, then getting sick and winding up being used by The Company, then living with Matt and Mohinder, but getting trapped in her own mind by Matt's father and having nightmares... and then she was written off the show. Sigh. But she has a lot of potential as an awesome, kick-ass character and I miiiiiiiiss her. She was adorable. I liked Matt and Mohinder most when they were interacting with Molly.

Apparently she's in India with Mohinder's mother, and possibly working with Micah long-distance? Or something. I don't read the web comics, but I maybe should. Also, a Micah and Molly team-up would make me so insanely, ridiculously happy that it's not even funny. ...Like this:

5. Lilo, Lilo and Stitch
Oh, Lilo. She is so completely adorable, and she kind of breaks my heart at the same time--the whole movie does, actually. I love it, but it's so saaaaad at the same time. It's a strange thing.
Anyway, Lilo is precious and adorable and has so much imagination and love and faith and I really just want to scoop her up and squeeze her.

I mean--she brings Pudge the fish peanut butter sandwiches because Pudge controls the weather. And she takes pictures of everything and she tells Stitch "I remember everyone who leaves." Guh.
And I love her and her sister. To pieces.

...Huh. Why do I not have a Micah icon? Clearly I need one.
