At the risk of spamming LJ and being ignored (also, it's Wednesday, which are usually slow days), I had a thought (and no one is on IM to bug about it).
Could the basic "5 things" premise be applied to a hurt/comfort fic, and how so?*
Thoughts, suggestions? Rabid bunnies?
*I assume everyone is familiar with this format, as in "5 things that never happened to...", "5 times the Bar at the End of the Time/Space Continuum never blew up...", "5 ways my mother broke her iPod and my brain with it..."
...Thought: A "5 things" ficathon would be *way* too much fun. Just saying. (Why is "intrigued" not a mood?)

But . . . of course it could.
You could either do, Five Ways Character X Was Comforted, or Five Ways Character X Comforted Character Y.
For ex: "Five Ways Dick Grayson Was Comforted After Almost Dying in the Crisis." Or "Five Ways Dick Grayson Comforted Roy Harper." OR Even "Five People Dick Grayson Comforted in Various Universes."

I absolutely adore this format, but so far everytime I try, I wind up with one-shots that were *meant* to be part of one. Ah well!
